I'm intrigued after reading the First Look. The premise definitely sounds interesting. So far, the writing, pacing and world building have been done well. Not enough of an excerpt was given for me to form an early opinion on character development. I'm usually not a fan of first person point of view or alternate timelines but I can see how they would add information and value to this type of story.
