Overall, I really liked this book. It kept me entertained throughout the whole story. I loved being along for the ride through all the mystery, spying, and training. Banter is my favorite thing in books and I really like Sydney’s and winters banter together. This book was one you really could read as a stand-alone if you wanted to, even though it is a part of a series, because it really didn’t feel like you needed to know the back story. The ending wasn’t the so called happy ending where they end up together from a romance standpoint. This book felt more like an action novel with a pleasant ending that encourages you to keep reading, since it is a series. At least the author didn’t leave us on a major cliffhanger. That would have been annoying. In regards to how the physical book looks, the cover art is great and I loved how there was a photo on the inside on the main character.
