I LOVED THIS BOOK SO MUCH OH MY GOSH!! This was my first Marie Lu book and I can guarantee it will not be my last. I actually impulse-bought her Legend trilogy and the Warcross duology after reading this because I need more from this brilliant author. That just goes to show how much I adored this. The writing is easy to read, the characters are so damn lovable and distinct from each other, the banter is fun and entertaining, and on top of that, the plot is SO FUN (spies are involved 😎 that's dope). I was so excited when I saw a second book was being added to this series. I can not wait to see how the romance continues to develop. The main couple in this book is enemies to lovers and opposites attract--two of my favorite tropes--so I obviously loved them together and you probably will too because their banter is to die for. My favorite character was Sydney; she's an ice queen with a secret heart of gold ughh i love her so much <33
