😂 why wouldn't they keep napkins by the cookie plate?
I haven't read Marie Lu in a while--check that, I don't think I've actually read her books, despite them being so often recommended to me (and now that I've read a little bit of her work, I can't see how I ever got her confused with Marissa Meyer). I guess I need to fix that ASAP--
I like the cover and POC representation. Winter seems like a perfect guy with perhaps some mental health issues to come (his disappointed parents, losing his brother, the pressures of tabloid paparazzi). I am guessing I would probably really like this book--part spy thriller, part complicated romance with a popstar. The characters have funny interactions (zingers and wiping crumbs on each others' shirts) and the writing is polished and sharp.
