Recently, I've had a complicated relationship to Marie Lu books because they have not been hitting like they used to, particularly since The Kingdom of Back. I'm not a big contemporary fan anyway, but I'm intrigued by this book and its sequel because of the mystery, spy element. We shall see if it works for me.
