Interesting start. Loved that it starts with two agents talking about what seems to be a pop star being a spy. The story starts with winter young a pop star who 5 years ago collapsed on stage. His brother Artie had joined the peace corps and died. In the snippet I read it does a good job. Explaining the craziness a celebrity must feel going pretty much anywhere which camera constantly in one’s face.
Claire his manager is constantly trying to get him to eat something that’s not empty calories and look after himself including his mental health and going on dates. Then winter is kidnapped by a black ops division of the cia that’s outsourced to the Panacea Group. Who wants him to perform for this criminals daughter for her birthday as an in to take down her father. These guys bring up his brother and almost allude to maybe Artie isn’t really dead.
