Winter Young and his impending adventures in 'Stars and Smoke' pull me into the story even though I wouldn't normally be that interested in Young Adult pop culture and romance. The cover would definitely make me take a second look as well. I would love to learn about the Jackal and Winter's success in completing his mission with the Eli Morrison party. I would give this book 4 Stars based on the excerpt I read.
