I find this book to be very predictable: World-renowned pop star becomes covert "CIA-type" operative and him and the young agent he's paired with fall for each other. I feel like this is a storyline that's been written before.
Maybe my 40+ year old self just doesn't get the intrigue of this book, so this young adult book is not something I would purposely pick up to read (and I HAVE read many YA novels).
