We are offered a glimpse into the dangerous game Steve has decided to play. However, because the excerpts jump, it does become a little confusing. Still, this story does seem to be an exciting game of cat and mouse.
Steve and Zack help themselves to the white powder they find in a crashed plane, without really thinking through the consequences. They do not think through what Curt, their guide, will do, they do not think about the illegality of what they are about to embark upon, and they ignore who owned this cocaine in the first place.
Their arrogance in thinking they can just unload $10 million worth of cocaine without getting caught by either the DEA or the criminals who want their stash back is their ultimate downfall. This book should be a thrilling, fast-paced rollercoaster ride of will they/won’t they make it through their ultimately terrible decision.
