I didn't like it from the start. The excerpt seems like it starts in the middle of a chapter and not in the beginning of the book. It makes it hard to get into the book if you know nothing about where the characters are, who they are, how they ended up at this place. The characters are unlikable from the get go. There is a paragraph in the excerpt that makes it seem like the author is glamorizing drugs. It also seems like this still needs to be proofread a little closer. I instances where a missing comma completely changes the way the sentence is read. I would not be interested in reading this book.
