One of the best books I’ve read in a while. It was fast paced and there was never a spot where I wasn’t interested in it. It got me out of a major book slump and I am in love with it. The main character Talin went over me right away, I loved her confident personality even when everyone’s against her. The sharp twist the book takes right in the second chapter really hooks you on and forces you to read the rest. It also has great representation for example the main character talin cannot speak and uses sign language and I thought that was really unique and I really liked reading that. All the characters were really thought out and had deeper unique back stories that presented themselves throughout the book. I fell in love with not only the characters but the story line and the plot twists. Overall it was a great fast paced read and it’s one of my favorite books now.
