The book is about a striker by the name of Talin who fights her nation, Mara. Talin is part of a secretive rebelling force.
Overall, like most of Marie Lu's books, it was fantastic. The plot caught my eye right away. I can also see that the writing style has improved and has been made for more mature audiences into their teens and older. Not specifically the plot but the way it is written. There is also a huge ordeal on the adrenaline packed book but I don't get those feelings of excitement with it.
We clearly see the characters pain in her writing, which makes up for the slow writing style. From beginning to end of the preview it captivated me and I cannot wait for it to come out and I will definitely read it!
