DNF @ 51%
This book is The Quite Place meets....zombies.
Honestly, I would've DNF-ed at 5% (literally) if I wasn't listening to this in the car on a roadtrip with friends.
One word: Zombies.
Ok this book isn't LITERALLY about zombies, but its zombie-esque enough for me thats a hard no. I hate zombies. Or things that come back to life. So this story clearly wasn't for me.
I trieddddd to like it. I gave it more time. But I just can't bring myself to care enough to finish. I'm thinking Marie Lu's writing just might not be for me. There was just a lot of info dumping and meh. I don't like it. I did not feel like this was original at all. The writing itself was good, but the concept was just bland.
