I haven't read any books by Marie Lu before. This would be a first. She has a unique writing style that fits right into the YA Fantasy category (a personal favourite). From the First Impression, I would say I'm definitely impressed with the world she has built. The attention to detail but not in a way that overloads you as the reader. Already there was a lot of action! I would love to find out what happens next!
