So right off the bat, we are introduced to the monsters. The “Ghosts” are described as foul, corrupted creatures, the stuff of nightmares and as if that’s not good enough, they were once human! Basically the government turned them into these things (because that ALWAYS works out huh?).
To top that off, we have an independent, badass female lead. Enough said.
I mean who doesn’t love a good sci-fi, with strong heroine and repulsing once-human monsters? (The answer is no one.)
