First of all, THAT COVER is gorgeous, such a kaleidoscopic array of colours! The map is simple yet detailed. From what I've read so far, the narrative was gripping and heartwrenching. The writing created incredibly vivid images for me in my mind. Talin is such a unique character and I loved her partnership with Corian. In one chapter I grew quite attached to the character of Corian. I love the whole premise of the book and its definitely kept me on the edge of my seat in just the first chapter. This is typical Marie Lu work, absolutely amazing. Can't wait to see what happens next!
