The books that Marie Lu writes are worth way more than gold. I expected this book to be a five-star read and frankly, I was not disappointed. It was brimming to the top with action and laced with adrenaline.

I loved this book so much that I read the 52 pages in one sitting! The moment I read the first line, I was teleported into a world full of endless possibilities, I immediately fell head over heels in love with the characters in the book; especially the main character, Talin, who I started to root for.

Talin always walks with her back straight and head held high, she is a force to be reckoned with. From what I have read so far, it seemed to me that she was the type of character that never gives up. And it is those qualities that make me admire her.

The cover of the book was very colorful and stunningly created. The synopsis hooked me, it is the reason why I wanted to read the book in the first place. The end of the 52 pages left me itching to find out what happens next. Especially what happened to the mysterious captive.

Overall, the first 52 pages of Skyhunter left me breathless and wanting to know more. Skyhunter is definitely a five star read for me.
