Marie Lu is an auto-buy author for me because of her world building, her layered and nuanced characters, and most of all her intricate plots and story lines. This already sounds like an intriguing story at first read and I cannot wait to read it in its entirety. The cover art is different from her other series and books which is very new and different. This is so exciting because I have read all her books and they are all different in their plot, characters, and world. However, the common thread is that Marie Lu pulls you in with the very first sentence and doesn't let you go until the very last sentence!
