Before I even opened the first look, I knew it was going to be a thrill ride. Marie Lu always delivers on that front. Then I saw the map at the front, then i got giddy! I don't know what it is, but I find that I always enjoy a book that provides a map of its world. From the first page, it was so easy to slip into this world. I'm already intrigued about the ghosts and if it's this action packed at the beginning, I can only begin to imagine what the rest of this book will be! I cannot wait to dive in more!
