In a world taken over by the federation, a lone country defies their rule. Strikers, the defenders of the people left, protect that country against the mutant aberrations that used to be human. This story starts with a focus on a Striker as she loses her partner to one of those aberrations and watches as her countrymen question a possible federation escapee turned prisoner.
