I don't normally like books about war and such but wow does this book have some action. I love that Talin has been through so much to become a Striker. She has no voice due to poison gas during an attack from the Federation. This ends up benefiting her in the position of striker. When her partner Corian gets attacked by a ghost she must kill him so he doesn't turn and it takes such a toll on her. I would love to see if she gets to remain a Striker or if this has ended get career. What will she do without Corian and her job?
