You won't be able to put it down!
My review is technically for the hardcover version that came out a year ago, but the story inside is still exactly the same.
I've always enjoyed Marie Lu's books, so I was so excited to read the start to her new duology.
Skyhunter is a thrilling YA scifi novel that's fast paced and action packed. It's full of plot twists and is generally the type of book that you'll want (or even need) to read in one sitting, because you just won't want to put it down! The story is told from the first person POV of a girl named Talin, who can't speak (I've heard some reviewers describe her as Mute, but I'm not sure if that's the correct term to use or not. She uses sign language in the book, which is so cool because I feel like you never see characters use it in written text books!) Anyway, the story follows her as she fights alongside the other strikers for her freedom. Its such an awesome book and like I said, you really can't put it down. I loved the diversity and representation in the book, and can't wait to read the sequel very soon!
