This book was absolutely amazing! I won a contest a few months back for it and I thought I posted my review, but must have forgotten about it. But I rate this story a good solid 5/5. I love Marie Lu books and my favorite will always be the Legend series, but I think this series may now become my second favorite. I absolutely love the characters. They felt incredibly real and I wanted to get to know them better. I am a huge sucker for the enemies to loves trope I have to admit. And the way that the two leads cannot combinate to one another in the beginning due to a language barrier - I am here for it. Highly recomend!
At first I was not so sure how I was going to feel about the post apoctoliptic feel, but I was surprised at how much I liked it. I am so excited to read the second book. This story ends on a great cliffhanger that will leave the reader wanting to read the second one immediately.
