Marie Lu is becoming to be one of my favorite authors for dystopian type reads. I loved the Legend series and I read Skyhunter in one sitting, then went and immediately purchased book two.
✔️Loved the writing style
✔️I loved the world building. From the beginning you get background on the main character as well the war past and present.
✔️It has a strong female protagonist with many obstacles she had to overcome.
✔️I loved the friendship and loyalty of Talin’s group within the striker community.
✔️Plenty of action
✔️A hint of some romance. I cant wait to see where this goes in book two.
✔️Loved the use and creativity of the technology/science and how it was different between the two sides.
The ending was great even though it was left on a cliffhanger. It set up the next book with plenty to look forward to. Overall great plot and well executed.
