I have read other books by this author and I have high expectation from what I got from the preview Talin journey to bring change to her world. I feel that the adults in this world don't do much as it seems run by teenagers as they are barely mentioned. There are many question I have while reading the preview like what has Mara been doing technology wise to stand against the Federation's vastly superior technology? So far I like the character Talin and feel that she seems very capable as a person. I want her to be able to reach her goals. I'm not big on romance as there usually is a side plot in most YA novels but I have a good feeling about this book. The writing is good so far showing each side the good and the bad people. I also like the setting. Teenagers are obviously the leaders in this world and there is a lot of potential. I look forward to reading the rest of the book.
