Another great book by Marie Lu! I read and loved The Legend Trilogy so much and Skyhunter isn’t too far off. I really liked the Young Adult dystopian and fantasy world that was created because it doesn’t exactly fit into any one genre which makes it stand out. I was immersed right away and was on the edge of my seat the entire time. This story has awesome world building and character development. It is action packed and fast paced. There is great depth of character and hardships that are relevant in today’s world. Talin is mute and also a refugee. It’s super interesting to see her as a main character. Red is very mysterious too and I love the interactions between the two. However, I love Talin’s mom the most!! She is super cool! This is an awesome read that I would definitely recommend!
