A story about freedom and a single warrior protecting the ones she loves. "Skyhunter" has the right amount of imagery to keep you hooked. The writing style is easy to comprehend and just a perfect jumble of words slapped together to make its plot. While reading, I was amazed by how the scenes flowed and had great transitions. My favorite, however, is the fact that the author uses sign language in the plot and portrays it amazingly. That, and the scenery.
The main character, Talin Kanami, is someone who's written as strong-willed. She's relatable and a unique person. Her devotion to keeping her Federation safe is admirable and it's shown to have an impact on everyone around her. When I read through this book, I feel like I'm living within it, with its characters and their problems and how they overcome what they've always been trying to overcome. It's a great story and I would highly recommend it.
