As I said in my title, this book feels a lot like Attack on Titan, but not in a bad way! The world-building is really strong already; I know the social structure and political landscape of Mara. Some parts of the world are very sci-fi, but other parts, such as the prejudices against refugees, are really relatable to our present day.
I also liked most of the characters that were introduced already. I really liked Corian and it makes me sad that he was killed off so soon in the book. I would love to read more about Talin and find out what the deal with the prisoner is!
