This book had me instantly intrigued. Never have I been so satisfied with a prologue alone. The world building is deftly and beautifully explained in a natural way that sets the stage for the rest of the book. The characters, the conflicts, the big bad monsters are all unique and thoroughly engaging. On top of all of this, I have a deep need to know how THAT COVER *swoon* comes to play in the story! This is hands down a must read, it left me wanting so much more and I cannot wait to delve into this world further.
