Anything written by Marie Lu is going to end up on my reading list! What a hook of a first line: "Ghosts travel in packs." This prologue describes in rich detail the monsters that plague this fantasy world and introduces us to our heroine, Talin, in a direct and awesome way. Then the book shifts into first person, and Lu's signature descriptive and accessible fantasy writing style. I cannot wait to get my hands on this book!!
