First of all this book was not what I expected. It’s a book set in old Hollywood following how the main character got to be a movie star. The main producer in Hollywood has something sinister going on and you never really know what to expect. Was everything really or was it in their minds? I still don’t know. It was very magical but in a creepy way. At times I didn’t really know what was going on but I definitely enjoyed it. I really loved the characters and their eerie qualities. I wish we heard more from the main characters family throughout the whole book not just in the beginning or the ending. I would love a another novel about some of the side characters I think that would be fun. Specifically her roommate and the lady giving out the movie theater tickets in the beginning. I think there is so much potential to build upon other stories tangled into the novel.
