ALRIGHT.

So, I've recived this book, obviously due to winning the giveaway raffle, and actually didn't expect myself to win. But anyway, I don't like historical fiction overall. There's nothing to draw my attention towards, and characters aren't often really people to "relate" to. BUT what I did enjoy was the LGBTQ rep. Now that, was defientely something I stand for. People often pointed out that it reminded them of The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo by Taylor Jenkins Reid, and I agree. With the simillar characters and plot, this is one thing the kept me reading due to the similarity of famillar styles.

The character was bland a bit, but the style of writing did tend to spicen her up, I guess you could say. Imagery is on POINT. Wording was proper, and I enjoy the cover. Creative, matches the books' overall topic, and the scheme was fitting.

Science fiction is also something that isn't much of my cup of tea, but we're alright with it.

Every so often I DO read science fiction, and this doesn't really fit it, as it mostly revolves around historical.

Overall, this is a book I didn't enjoy due to the genres and writing style, but did enjoy for the familliarity. If Science Fiction or Historical fiction is your thing, this is the book for you.
