This is my first book I’ve read by this author. I went in blind which definitely wouldn’t have help me understand the premise of the book anyways. It’s also the first time l have read anything in the historical fantasy genre. If there are more books in this category l would definitely be interested in reading them. This story is old world Hollywood starlets and actors mixed in with changelings. The characters weren’t well developed and l think that’s why l had a hard time connecting with any of them. The concept of the story was interesting and could have been better played out had their been more information on characters that were changlings instead of just kinda throwing them out there. There were some romantic scenes that made the book a little more enjoyable to make up for the lack of a substantial plot. I’m hoping my review of this book doesn’t deter anyone from reading this book, maybe l didn’t fully understand the concept the author was going for.
