The cover to this book is breath taking. I wanted to know who that lady was on the front and how she became the titular siren.
Reading the book was a joy. Or reading the First Look anyway. I cared about the character from the beginning. The idea that there was a public face with a lie had me wanting to read the real story. The story starts out humble and easy to empathize with. As an outsider myself, I wanted her to have whatever she wanted. She was willing to work for it and I was cheering her on.
I would like to finish this book. I want to see more of her journey and like to see what happens to her and her family. It’s like when she achieves her dreams and the hardships that follow. Because raising to fame and fortune never comes easy nor does it stay easy. I can not wait to read about her will to fight for what she wants and I hope there is some kind of happiness for her.
