Nghi Vo has been a name I've heard around the bookish sphere in the past few years, and from this first look I can see why. Their ability to weave magic into every-day life, and build characters to be work independently of their circumstances, is certainly a strong skill. It seems a bit longer than their previous works (at least the novellas), but I'm excited to see what this outlook this story brings to the Hollywood sphere.
