The setting seems to be kind of like a Mystery novel, and I can easily image this as a movie. TO start off, the cover is absolutely adorable from the beginning. Now, let's get to the review. I like the small details, although I do hope that the whole book isn't like this. Many people do indeed have the first two chapter designated to introduce the character, and their history. But if the whole book is written like this, it's a no go for me.
