I was blown away after reading the preview of Siren Queen by Nghi Vo. This novel is full of magic! I was looking forward to reading it since I read the synopsis. I have never before read such a unique and well written take on Old Hollywood in the 1930s, where actual monsters run the movie studios and want to own the women who want nothing more than to make it in show business. I am a huge fan of the author’s stellar writing and descriptive language. The story captivated me from the very first page and I cannot wait to finish reading the book! I love stories about Old Hollywood and am looking forward to adding this one to my collection.
