This book is gorgeous. Gorgeous cover, especially in that blue. Gorgeous story -- gorgeous writing especially. Nghi Vo's writing is always magic; smooth as silk and sharp as knives, but here especially it shines. I was completely immersed in this excerpt and cannot wait to read the full novel.
