I personally am not the biggest fan of football. But because my brother is such a fan and plays football, I felt compelled to pick up some book about the subject. Enter this book. The premise sounded interesting, especially in light of football players with mental disabilities. The title was moderately interesting but almost turned me off, because it made me furrow my eyebrows and question whether it would be a good read.

First, the cover. Very mysterious with the darkness and the green.

Onto the plot and characters. Plot-wise, it's about corruption within football? (gosh, I hope this doesn't happen to my brother, and I take comfort in the fact that this is fiction, even though I know some unfortunate events have happened in the past). But trigger warnings, there is child abuse and physical abuse. So don't read if you are not mentally prepared for that.
