So I won this book in the raffle, and I was super excited to get it because I thought the first impression made it seem really interesting. I also still think it has the potential to get really interesting. I want to start the next part by saying I can read a book a really enjoy in a day or less. When I got this book, I pretty much immediately started it, but I can not get through it quickly at all. I felt after the initial intrigue it really started to slow down its pace. I found myself reading just a couple pages at a time. I am still hoping that it will pick up pace because I am still curious about what happens in the story. It just may be a while until I go back and finish this book as I have so many other unread books sitting at home to try and persevere through one at this time. I will say the concept and promise of the book is very fascinating and I like the characters. The background stuff is just taking awhile.
