After reading the first look, I wasn’t a fan. I have a sweet spot for books that take place in southwestern America, so I was pleasantly surprised when it took place in New Mexico. However, that was the only thing that drew my attention. From the beginning, I couldn’t get into the book because it focused on football (even the book dedication). I think I am just the wrong demographic for this.
