Right off the bat, I feel like this book COULD work for SOME people. But then it's really hard... are you that person that this book would work for? It is hard to say. The author took his experience, and extrapolated it out into a way that others can help themselves, but not everyone is the same, has the same reactions to things, or has the same will power. Sometimes, a simple book can not fix everything.

My fear is that people that genuinely need help from a therapist, psychologist or psychiatrist, for their addition, will instead purchase this book (that may not work for them) and think that this is the magic bullet for recovery. There is no magic bullet for recovery, and most people need to put in the hard work to make it work. It is a life long thing. This author makes it seem TOO easy, and my fear is that people will look at this as a magic bullet, to avoid the actual difficult work of recovery.
