Sex, Drugs and Radical Self-Expression is quite an inspiring book. There are many relatable experiences through out the book. A variety of examples of how we misinterpret so many of the feelings we have about ourselves. How we react in ways we shouldn't because of this. This book has alternative ways to understand what we may actually be feeling/experiencing and how we can go about making it better. Ways that don't involve dulling our senses with prescription drugs and needing incorrect diagnosis to justify what we are actually going through. It also dives into how many people go about searching for fulfillment and happiness in material things and other people's opinions, rather than in ourselves and our experiences. Embracing your feelings and acknowledging them rather than suppressing them and allowing them to take over.
