Wow, and not in a good way

I find self help books difficult to read in general so even though I have several on my shelf I haven't read many of them. I knew I wasn't going to like this one from the description. The author has a holier than thou attitude right from the start and I feel like he offended several large social groups in the first few pages of the book. Then he tries to defend his drug use and asks the reader not to judge. I couldn't even finish the First Look due to his preachy, male privilege attitude.
