Sex, Drugs, and Radical Self-Expression is in every sense of the word, a self-help book. Not a genre I particularly love but from what I've read, the author doesn't entirely butcher it. I appreciate the way the book is set up with thematic division between the heart, head, and hand. It's a score for alliteration and the reader's digestion of all these lessons. But I won't be continuing this book because of the question I pose to all self-help books. Is this something I don't know? And unfortunately the answer here is NO. While I can't say I own multiple multi-million dollar companies, the repeated "thought-provoking" statements just don't have the impact I suppose they ought to.
