I don't generally turn away from a self-help book, I like to read them and give them a chance if they relate to me. However, this author seems to not have a full grasp on how to connect with everyone. It seems to be more of a memoir rather than a self-help book. It seems almost as if he has just written a book about how successful he is and not about how everyone can relate and get to that place as well. It reminds me of the "become a millionaire" seminar traps that people fall for.
