This book was super cute and I really loved all the characters. I love the friends to lovers and the estranged childhood friends angle. I liked the dialogue and getting to know both main characters point of views. I liked that you got to know the side characters well and they were all well developed and likeable. The friends to enemies to friends to lovers was fun and gave the story more to work with. The setting in San Diego was beautiful and I liked that it gave a lot of regional things that helped you get the vibe of the location. Overall this has now made the author an instant buy author! This book is great for both teens and adults alike. Even with the characters being teens it did not feel like a story that was too young. Overall I really liked this book and it was one of my top five books this year. I do wish this story was a bit longer but only because I liked it so much.
