I thought YA is one of my favorite genres, but lately I am noticing that I am growing the teenage drama, and this book was full of that. It was cute, it took me back to my 15-year-old self, a K-POP and K-DRAMA fan days, but I did not enjoy it as much as I thought I would, and it is not in any way the author's or the book's fault, no, it is on me for picking up a book that was written for teenager.s Because that is what this book represented, a cute romance, a cute couple, a teenage idol, maybe even a teenage idol fantasy crush, that only teenagers are able to have. I assumed YA was still my favorite genre, but I understood that I definitely outgrew this genre, it is not mature enough for me anymore, or satisfying to read. The childishness gets annoying, and again this is not an attack at book, but the book made me realize these things. However, if I was a teenager I am completely sure I would have enjoyed and even loved this book.
