I really love K-Dramas, so when reading the summary, I had to check it out. Hannah, the main character, just faced a break up and is dealing with the results of rejecting her Korean-American heritage. However, she recently meets Jacob, a Korean man who is well versed in Korean culture that she knew from the past, and meeting him again puts her life in whirlwind!
I really enjoyed the first look at this book that I received. The writing style is lightweight, fun, cozy, and easy to consume. This is the perfect kind of YA novel for someone who wants a fun and relaxing lighthearted read.
I liked the cultural diversity in this book as well. It's really interesting to see the variety of experiences had between individuals. There was a lot of drama as well (true to K-Drama inspiration it seems!) and that helped keep me flipping through pages looking for more. I recommend this book if you are interested in Korean media or looking for a lighthearted read that differs from your usual romance.
