I've been seeing marketing for this book everywhere and anticipate it being a hit. The opening scene of the main character caring for a drunk/sick boyfriend as he tries to dump her immediately had my attention. The story brings to life all those young feelings of a YA experience, heartbreak, and finding out who you are and thus who you should be with. I'm not familiar with the Kpop culture, but love that neither is the main character. I expect that to be a subplot of the novel and readers who are and are not familiar will both enjoy the read.
